Product, delivery and CX leadership for complex organisations, proven at Sky, J&J MedTech and Covéa Insurance

When a customer journey crosses four departments, three systems and two governance boards, the hard part isn't knowing what good looks like. It's getting the organisation to decide. We're Rosalyn and Matt (30+ years leading product, delivery and customer experience at Sky, Johnson & Johnson MedTech, ASDA and Covéa Insurance), and that is the work we do.

The alternative sells you a partner and delivers three graduates. You get both of us, named and accountable, from the first conversation to the last deliverable.

Who we work with

The same senior pair, applied wherever the decisions are hardest.

For Enterprise

Enterprise & Regulated Organisations

Competing stakeholders, stage gates, legacy systems, and a customer journey that nobody owns end to end. Progress has to be defensible as well as fast.

Executive discovery, service blueprints, target state design, and fractional leadership, with design authority over whoever implements.

See how we work with enterprise →
For Third Sector

Charities & VCSE Organisations

Funder scrutiny, trustee governance, stretched capacity. Every pound and every hour has to be justified to someone.

Discovery, roadmaps and delivery support scoped to real constraints, plus participatory research through Participation Studio.

For Founders

Early Stage & Scaleups

You need senior product and delivery judgement before you can justify a permanent hire.

Fixed price sessions and month by month partnerships, drawing on the same enterprise experience.

Why we exist

Rosalyn Potts and Matthew Hodgkinson, founding partners of Dual Perspective

Dual Perspective is a permanent pairing, not an assembled team. Matt leans UX, Rosalyn leans CX, and both of us are experienced across product, research and delivery, so nothing waits on a handoff between "the strategy person" and "the delivery person." Most consultancies assemble a team who have never worked together and hand you whoever is on the bench. We are Rosalyn and Matt, we have worked together for years, and we are the people who do the work.

Between us we have spent more than 30 years leading digital transformation, customer experience and delivery programmes at organisations like Johnson & Johnson MedTech, ASDA, Sky and Leeds Building Society, managing multi-million pound budgets, leading teams of 50+, and delivering work that touches millions of customers. We built Dual Perspective because the most valuable support does not come from distant strategy or slide decks. It comes from experienced people who have done the work, made the calls, and know how to move things forward in the real world.

We are also, as it happens, married, and we have raised two daughters together. It is why the partnership works: neither of us has ever had to be diplomatic with the other about a bad idea.

  • Two directors, no pyramid. The alternative sells you a partner and delivers three graduates. Every hour you buy from us is a director's hour, and both names stay on the work.
  • UX and CX, both fluent in delivery. Matt leans UX, Rosalyn leans CX, and product judgement runs through both of us. Two perspectives on the same problem, not a handoff between the people who plan and the people who ship.
  • We've done this at scale. J&J MedTech, Sky, ASDA, Leeds Building Society. Product and delivery programmes worth millions, with teams of 50+. We bring that rigour without the overhead that usually comes with it.
  • We help you decide what not to build. The hardest decisions aren't what to do. They're what to stop, what to deprioritise, what to say no to. One discovery removed 40% of a committed roadmap and about £280k of planned spend.
  • Clarity that survives contact with your team. Decisions your people can act on and defend upwards, not documents they ignore.

How we're set up

The question procurement always asks, answered before you have to ask it.

Seniority

Two directors, no pyramid

You are not buying access to a partner who then delegates. Both of us are named on the engagement and both of us do the work. There is no bench to feed, which is also why we have no incentive to make your programme bigger than it needs to be.

Scale

Named associates, named partners

Where a programme needs specialist capacity or implementation muscle, we bring in associates and delivery partners by name, agreed with you in advance. Never substituted quietly, never a surprise on the invoice. Accountability stays with us throughout.

Capacity

We publish our availability

We cap how many engagements we run at once, and we say what is free rather than promising everyone everything. If we cannot give your work the attention it needs, you will hear that before you commit, not after.

How it works

Three steps. Minimal lift from you. Clear outcomes and forward momentum.

1
Get honest about what's actually going on
We start by listening properly. Not to write a proposal. To understand what you're building, why it matters, and what's really getting in the way. Then we make the mess visible and cut to what needs to happen next.
2
Start as small as you like
A single discovery session if you want to test how we work. A focused sprint to build momentum. An embedded partnership or fractional role if you want us inside the organisation. There's no pressure to commit to more than you need, and no bench of ours to keep busy.
3
Ship work that matters
We don't just plan. We roll up our sleeves and help you deliver. Clear decisions. Real progress. Things actually getting done.

What we actually do

Hands-on, senior support across product, delivery, and customer experience.

Product strategy and roadmaps
Clear priorities, realistic milestones, and ownership so decisions stop drifting. We help you say no to the noise and focus on what moves the needle.
Digital propositions that convert
Proposition, pricing, and positioning tied to real customer need. Not what you think they want, but what research shows they'll actually pay for. See Product Strategy.
Delivery leadership that keeps moving
Lightweight rituals. Visible progress. Risks surfaced early. We run the drumbeat so you can focus on the business. See Delivery Leadership.
Service design that ships
Journeys, blueprints, and flows that turn into work your teams can execute. Not pretty PDFs that sit in a drawer. See Service Design.
Fractional senior leadership
CPO, Head of Delivery, CX leadership without adding headcount. We step in, own outcomes, and integrate with your team like we've always been there. See Fractional Leadership.
Customer insight that matters
Inclusive, ethical research with customers, patients, and users. Real insight that feeds directly into delivery, not research theatre. See Customer Experience.

Participation Studio

Rapid research and validation that prevents expensive mistakes. When you need confidence in what to build, who it's for, and why it will work before you commit the budget.

We run focused, ethical research with customers, patients, colleagues, and clinicians, then translate it into clear decisions your team can act on. No fluff. No endless synthesis. Just insight that moves delivery forward.

Questions we get asked

You're two people. Can you handle a programme this size?
It depends what you need us to be. We are not a body shop and we will never win on headcount. What we do is own the thinking: discovery, target state design, decision quality and design governance, then hold whoever implements to it. On the programmes where we've done this, at Sky, J&J MedTech and Covéa, the constraint was never how many people were in the room. It was whether anyone senior enough was making the calls. Where a programme genuinely needs more hands, we bring in named associates and implementation partners, agreed with you in advance. How we're set up →
Who actually does the work?
We do. Both of us, named in the contract, from the first conversation to the last deliverable. The alternative sells you a partner in the pitch and delivers three graduates on the engagement. Every hour you buy from us is a director's hour. If specialist capacity is needed we tell you who, we agree it with you first, and we stay accountable for the outcome.
You hold fractional roles elsewhere. How do we know we'll get your attention?
Those roles are Dual Perspective engagements, and we think they're a reason to hire us rather than a reason not to: we're currently operating, not reciting experience from 2019. We also cap how much we take on, and we publish current availability rather than promising everyone everything. If we can't give your work the attention it needs, we'll tell you before you commit, not after. Current capacity →
What makes you different from other consultancies?
Three things. You get directors doing the work, not selling it. You get product and delivery leadership in the same conversation, from two people who already work together, so nothing is lost in the handoff. And because we have no bench to keep busy, we have no incentive to make your programme bigger than it needs to be: one of our discoveries removed 40% of a committed roadmap and about £280k of planned spend.
Do you work across different sectors?
Yes. We've delivered for health, retail, fintech, housing, infrastructure, and the third sector. The work is about complexity and outcomes. The principles stay the same: clarity, focus, delivery.
How quickly can we start?
Most clients start within 1-2 weeks of first contact. Discovery sessions can often be scheduled within a few days. We move at your pace.
Do you work remotely or in-person?
Both. We're based in Leeds but work across the UK and internationally. Many engagements are remote, which keeps costs down. But we're happy to work on-site when face-to-face adds real value.
Are the founder packages actually fixed price?
Yes. Clear scope, clear outputs, clear timescales. No scope creep, no surprise invoices, no "it depends". You know exactly what you're getting and what it costs before we start.
We're not sure we're ready for ongoing support. Can we just start with the session?
Yes, and we'd encourage it. The Clarity Session is designed to stand alone. A lot of our best ongoing relationships started with one morning and a decision to come back. There's no obligation and no pitch at the end.
What happens after the Clarity Session?
You get a prioritised action plan with clear next steps you can execute immediately. Many clients move into a Momentum Sprint to build on that clarity, or an Embedded Partnership for ongoing support. But there's zero pressure. The session stands alone.
Is there a minimum commitment?
No. You can start with a single £945 Clarity Session to test how we work together. We'll recommend the lightest level of support that will still create real momentum. We'd rather you start small and scale than over-commit too early.
Can you just take something off my plate and run with it?
Yes. That's literally what we're here for. Founders tell us they don't need more advice, they need hands-on help. Give us the brief, the context, and the constraints. We'll own it, keep you informed, and ship it.

Ready to get some clarity?

Tell us what’s going on and what feels stuck. We’ll come back within one working day with an honest read on whether we can help, how, and whether we have the capacity to do it properly. No pitch, no pressure.
