Practical senior support for third sector organisations who need to do more with less

You have deep purpose, committed people, and real constraints. We work with your reality — not an imagined version of it — to create clarity, reduce friction, and deliver progress that lasts.

Response within one working day • Fixed prices from £595 • No jargon, no bloat

Good intent is not the problem. Capacity and clarity usually are.

Most third sector organisations have extraordinary people working incredibly hard for important causes. The challenge isn't commitment — it's the weight of competing priorities, constrained resources, stakeholder demands, and the gap between strategy and delivery.

We've worked with charities, housing associations, community organisations, and social enterprises who needed senior input without the cost of a permanent hire or the bloat of a large consultancy. People who could understand their context, cut through the noise, and help make progress.

That's what we do. We work with your constraints, not around them. We don't add complexity — we reduce it.

Challenges we help third sector organisations solve

The situations we encounter most often.

"Our services are stretched and the team is carrying too much"

Demand is high and capacity is low. We use service design and operational review to identify where friction is happening, what can be simplified, and what changes will meaningfully reduce the load on your team.

"We know digital could help but we don't know where to start"

We cut through the digital confusion with a clear-headed discovery process — understanding your actual needs, your team's capacity, and what technology can realistically deliver — before any money is committed to build.

"Our trustees and funders need a credible plan"

We help organisations build evidence-based strategies grounded in user research and service data that stand up to scrutiny — without becoming expensive governance theatre. A plan that's as credible to a funder as it is useful to your team.

"We're growing but our ways of working haven't kept up"

Growth is good, but operating habits need to evolve with it. We help third sector organisations build the rhythms, ownership structures, and decision-making processes that support delivery at scale without losing the culture that matters.

"Beneficiary experience keeps falling through the gaps"

When services span multiple teams, handoffs break down and beneficiaries feel the gaps. Our Participation Studio puts real people at the centre — running research that reveals what actually happens and what actually needs to change.

"We need senior leadership but can't justify the headcount"

Fractional leadership gives third sector organisations access to experienced senior support — 2-3 days a month — without the cost, recruitment timeline, or long-term commitment of a permanent hire.

"They helped us see what we'd been missing — and it completely changed how we approached our services."

Why third sector organisations choose us

We work with real constraints

We don't impose commercial frameworks that don't fit the third sector. We understand budget cycles, trustee governance, volunteer capacity, and funder requirements — and we work within them.

Senior support at accessible prices

You work directly with Rosalyn and Matt — 15+ years each of senior leadership experience. Not a junior team. Not an account manager. Senior thinking at prices third sector organisations can actually afford.

Practical, not theoretical

No 80-page strategy documents that gather dust. Our outputs are practical — priorities, actions, plans — built to be used by your team, not admired by your consultants.

We put beneficiaries at the centre

Real insight from the people you serve — not assumptions. Our Participation Studio runs ethical, accessible research that surfaces what actually matters to your beneficiaries.

We build your capacity, not dependency on us

We share knowledge, explain our thinking, and help your team develop. The goal is that you need us less over time — not more. That's what sustainable support looks like.

Fixed prices, no surprises

Clear scope, clear outputs, clear cost before we start. No scope creep. No surprise invoices. Easy to approve through governance, easy to report on to funders.

Questions from third sector organisations

Do you understand how third sector organisations actually work?
Yes. We understand the reality of trustee governance, constrained budgets, volunteer capacity, funder cycles, and the weight of competing stakeholder expectations. We don't pretend these constraints don't exist — we work within them. Our approach is always grounded in what your organisation can realistically sustain.
Can you help us make the case to our board or funders?
Yes. We regularly help third sector organisations build evidence-based cases for change — grounded in user research and service data — that stand up to trustee and funder scrutiny. We know what good looks like for a business case, and we can shape outputs so they work for your governance and reporting requirements.
We have very limited budget. Can you still help?
Our Clarity Sessions start at £595 and are specifically designed to give you maximum value in a single focused session. Many third sector clients start here, get genuine clarity, and decide next steps from there. We also offer flexible payment terms that can be aligned to grant cycles. We'd rather work with you within your budget than not at all.
Do you work with housing associations and social enterprises?
Yes. Our third sector experience spans registered charities, housing associations, community organisations, social enterprises, not-for-profit health and care providers, and education trusts. The challenges are often similar — capacity, priorities, delivery, and making the case for change — even if the context differs.
Can you help with digital transformation in the third sector?
Yes — but we approach it carefully. Digital should solve a real problem, not be done for its own sake. We help third sector organisations understand what digital can genuinely do for them — and what it can't — then build practical, realistic roadmaps given your team, budget, and capacity. We've seen too many expensive digital projects fail because nobody asked the right questions first.
How do you handle sensitive work with vulnerable beneficiaries?
We approach all research and design work with care, respect, and appropriate safeguarding. When our work involves vulnerable people — including those experiencing mental health challenges, domestic abuse, poverty, or disability — we apply inclusive research practices and follow established ethical guidelines. We're happy to discuss our approach in more detail before any engagement.
